It had been some time since Raditz had left suddenly for no
explanation giving rise to why he left.
For some reason Bebi left shortly after all three of them had lost the
battle against Raditz. Masiana and Goku
were the only ones what remained on the Island for some time. Goku and Masiana seemed
a bit silent towards
one another. Goku being silent because
he thought that Masiana was in league with Raditz, and Masiana was silent
because she didn’t know how to talk to Goku.
After a few weeks, Gohan arrived at Master Roshi’s and began
to train there. Goku and Masiana were
caught by surprise when they walked out of Roshi’s house to see Gohan training
with Turtle. Gohan was swimming in the
ocean with Turtle, who was pushing Gohan to do better. The two finally got out of the
water, and
Gohan came up to Goku and Masiana. “Hey
there Dad, how are you doing?” Gohan
asked. “Gohan what are you doing
here? I thought you were going to stay
home?” Goku asked his son. “Well
Dad, you see there is this tournament coming
up soon, and I want to train as hard as I can for it.” Gohan said with enthusiasm. “A tournament!” Goku said with
excitement. “I haven’t been to one of
them since before you were born. When is
it?” Goku asked. Gohan took out the flier
from his bags and
handed it to Goku. The date on it said
April 29, 2008. Goku was all
excited. He turned to Masiana and asked
her if she was going to join the tournament.
Masiana took the flier from Goku, and looked over it
carefully. There were prizes, and all
the competitors who were in the tournament were held in a hotel by the
tournament. She saw that the prize was 100,000
zenni for first place, and 50,000 zenni for second place. She asked Goku if that was
a lot. Goku said that it was the standard prize
money for first and second, and that the money was a good amount. She stood there silent
for a while thinking
about what she would do. On one hand she
could just not enter the tournament and try to find Raditz to see if he knew
anything about her brother’s whereabouts.
The other option was to enter the tournament and try to patch things up
again, and have Goku see her the way she was before Raditz came. After some deciding
she figured it would be
more important to stay by Goku since she didn’t know where her brother was, nor
did she know where to find Raditz.
Meanwhile Bebi had just gotten to Central City, and met with
Cell. “Yes Cell, what is it that you had
requested me to come to your location?”
Bebi asked. “I need you to take
out Zangya, she no longer serves a purpose to us.” Cell told Bebi.
“Can I take her for myself, and make her
power mine to add to me?” Bebi asked, in
a way not wanting to get slaughtered by Cell.
“Do as you wish.” Cell
commanded. With that, Bebi was off to
Kami’s Lookout.
